PLANS FOR 2008 - 2009

'40 LIES'

I am working with Sarah Kirby, Leicester artist/printmaker, on '40 Lies'.

The poems are built from single 'found' facts.

eg. 'Munkhbat Jigjidym won Mongolia's first silver medal : in wrestling at the Mexico City Olympic Games', or, 'Orhun Pamuk is now at home again', or, 'Let-we Thon-dara wrote two lyrics of exile of such beauty he was recalled by the King', or, 'Marduk Apal-Iddina built a huge herb garden'.

We have produced 40 poems-and-pictures for the collection.

'26 EUROS'

An A-Z translation of male European poets. 22 of the 26 are done. Please look at the appeal on the Homepome page and help us finish the book. Then the female companion volume.


'MOLECULE'

A 12 year old NZ boy leaves home on his bike, intent on never being the victim of Evolution's demands. His freedom affects everyone he meets as he travels around the top half of the South Island - though he himself remains innocently detached from the world. A tale in 107 sonnets. Finished 30th March 2008.
