COCK-A-DOODLE-DOOOOOOO !



  He flap along the Ando Way,

  And head for sunny Boga Bay,

  

  And then proceed to Temple Nu,

  Singing cock-a-doodle-doo !

  

  He pass the Mill, the Elephant,

  The paddy fields ; he puff and pant,

  

  He wheel above Banana Peak,

  The message beakled in his beak.

  

  He rush across the Field of Green,

  And down the Pretty Small Ravine

  

  Towards the famous Egghead Dome

  of Kandy, rooster-treats, and home !

  

  O what is the message of Life and Death that the Rooster carry ? Eh ? Eh ?
